There are so many Chelsea days out to choose from but one that really stands out for me was Liverpool away. We set out early cos it was a 4 hour drive, plenty of snacks for the journey & I had some sort of games console in the back to keep me busy. Finally got there & the car window wouldn’t close, you & David were worried about leaving it open cos well… we were in Liverpool after all. Decided to risk it, got into the ground, took our seats, soaked up the atmosphere & enjoyed the game. I remember we were all really celebrating when we took the lead only for them to equalise late on. Got back to the car after the match, all ok thankfully & headed back. Not a win but another great day out. Because of you both I still got to Chelsea week in week out to this day!
